White Yarn Wreath : DIY

Just like I made one here...http://plumb-diddly-umptious.blogspot.com/2012/01/diy-yarn-wreath-with-felt-flowers.html

Made one for my sister Jen's baby's room which has a light purple wall background so should work well.

White yarn and pink/purple/white felt flowers and silver berries.

I kept having difficulties with the yarn.  My first yarn wreath went really smoothly with the yarn and for some random reason I kept getting knots in this white yarn, maybe because it was a different material and the way I was pulling was wrong??  I don't know.  So the back of it kind of looks horrible.  But I think the front is very pretty.

Saturday, March 10 - Jen's Baby Shower

So excited for the twin girls to come!!  Jen got some great gifts!  Deb made some amazing treats (I need to find some pictures)...will update.

CPK Hangout Spot

We went out to dinner on Friday, March 9 up in Santa Barbara with the Hulmes to support the "Multiples" Club that Jen is a part of.  The girls found this little hangout spot in the corner by the waiting chairs and it perfectly trapped them in.  Such clever little girls.

Santa Barbara Zoo

We went to the zoo on Friday, March 9 up in Santa Barbara with Jen and Kylie.  We had Soooooooo much fun!!!  There were so many cool things to see.  Jen has a lot more photos on her camera, but here are some of mine:

GORILLA STORY-So As One Gorilla Walks away in the picture above, another gorilla comes and puts it back against the glass wall facing away from us.  at first the girls think its awesome.  we try to get them to pet the glass, but they don't get too close.  Julia then proceeds to eat her lunch on my lap watching the gorilla from behind.  Then, Julia decides to lay down on the cool cool floor since its burning hot that day.  and then all of the sudden, the gorilla turns his head to look at her and she SCREAMS!  it was so funny because she kept screaming and didn't stand up to run away (I know I am a horrible mom for taking photos of this, but she really wasn't in any immediate danger)  He was just checking her out.  Maybe I am the only one who finds this funny.  Also to note...the floor wasn't dirty.
