So I still do "alone time" in the morning with Julia for 15-45 minutes. It started out as "blanket time" alone in the room when she was a bit younger and couldn't move too much. Now it is "Room Time" and she enjoys it every morning playing with her toys alone in her room with the door open so I can peek in without her seeing me. The point is to have them be able to focus, be creative and be more independent without being distracted that their mother is there and more fun to play with. I constantly hear babbling or her playing with the mirror or hitting her toys together or playing her piano. She has been discovering her room a lot more - in my previous post she was
stuck under the bed. Sometimes its fun for me in the morning to see where she has ended up especially when there isn't crying. To my surprise this morning she was stuck inbetween the baby bouncer and the rocking chair. She always has such determination - I don't understand how she got through there, but it was super funny and cute. I thought I should share some pictures. I love my daughter Julia sooo much!
