Baked Brown Sugar/Lemon Salmon!

I am always so confused with making salmon sometimes because all over the internet it gives different oven temps and different suggestions. But I found this one recipe that I changed up to make it for 2 large servings of fish for Riley and I that was soooo delicious.  It is the perfect recipe for fish lovers!  Even Julia had some and loved it.

Takes about 35 minutes = cook time + prep time

INGREDIENTS:
About 2 tbsp. lemon juice
About 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 salmon fillet (big enough for two!)
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 thin slice of lemon
1 Glass 8inx8in
1. Heat Oven to 375 Degrees.
2.  Pour Lemon Juice into Ungreased Square 8 inx8in Baking Dish.  Make sure the lemon juice fills the whole bottom of the glass dish - add more if 2tbsp is not enough.
3. Sprinkle lemon juice with about 1/4 cup brown sugar.
4. Place large fillet in the middle of dish and drizzle on 1 Tbsp of melted butter.
5. Bake this uncovered for 15 minutes in 375 degrees oven.
6. After taking out, turn over if there is no skin on the bottom.  If there is skin on the bottom leave bottom down (I usually have skin on the bottom so leave it).
7. Place slice of lemon on top of salmon fillet and sprinkle the fillet with about 2+ teaspoons of brown sugar
8.  Bake for an additional 15 minutes in 375 degrees oven.
9.  If preparing rice with this or other vegetables, you can serve them if desired with the juices from the baking dish drizzled on it.
Note: If making with more than one fillet, place a slice of of lemon on each one for the second baking.

Here is the original recipe I took this from:
BAKED SALMON FILLETS from COOKS.COM

2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
4 Market Day salmon fillets
1 tbsp. butter, melted
4 thin slices lemon
8 tsp. brown sugar
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Pour lemon juice into ungreased rectangular baking dish, 11" x 7 1/2" x 2"; sprinkle with 1/4 cup brown sugar. Arrange fillets in dish; drizzle with butter. Bake uncovered 15 minutes; turn. Place 1 slice lemon on each salmon fillet; sprinkle with 2 teaspoons brown sugar. Bake until fish flakes easily with fork, 15 to 20 minutes longer. Serve with juices from dish.
